Guests order from their phone.Your staff run the floor.
Shata Self Ordering is bilingual mobile and kiosk ordering for restaurants and cafés — menu, cart, checkout, Pay at Counter, and real-time order tracking, with the kitchen workflow to match. Try the live demo end-to-end, in English or Arabic.
The problem
The line forms at the counter, every time.
One or two people take every order, at the counter, in whatever language they happen to share with the guest. During a rush, that's the ceiling on how many tables you can turn — not the kitchen, not the food, just the queue to place an order.
Self Ordering moves ordering onto the guest's own phone or a kiosk, in their own language, and sends it straight to the kitchen — so staff spend their time serving, not repeating the menu.
Capabilities
Everything from menu to kitchen, in one flow.
Mobile Customer Ordering
Guests scan a table QR or open a link and order from their own phone — no app to install, no account required to browse.
Kiosk Ordering
A self-service kiosk mode for walk-up ordering, with an idle timeout and a clean reset between customers.
Bilingual EN / AR, Real RTL
Every customer-facing screen ships in English and Arabic with a genuine right-to-left layout — not a mirrored afterthought.
Cart & Checkout
Quantities, modifiers, and per-item customization, with a clear running total before the order is placed.
Pay at Counter
Orders settle at the counter by default. No card data touches the browser, and no payment integration is required to go live.
Real-Time Order Tracking
Customers watch their order move from placed to preparing to ready, without refreshing or flagging down staff.
Kitchen & Order Workflow
Orders land on the kitchen/operations view the moment they're placed, and status updates flow straight back to the customer.
Branches, Tables & Order Modes
Branches, tables, dine-in, and pickup are modeled natively, so the same menu behaves correctly across locations.
Operator & Admin Tools
Menu, category, and product management with availability control, so staff can 86 an item in seconds.
How it works
From scan to kitchen ticket in four steps.
01

04
Kitchen gets it instantly
Status flows back to the guest in real time
Try it yourself. No call required.
The demo runs against a dedicated, isolated demo restaurant — invented menu, invented orders. It is not connected to any real customer's data, and every order settles as Pay at Counter. Nothing you do in the demo touches a real business.
- 1Open the live demo and tap Start Ordering — no signup required.
- 2Switch the menu to Arabic and see the full right-to-left layout.
- 3Add a few items, adjust quantities, and open the cart.
- 4Check out and choose Pay at Counter.
- 5Watch the order move from Preparing to Ready on the tracking screen.
Where it stands
Self Ordering V1 is live and running the workflows shown in the demo — bilingual mobile and kiosk ordering, cart, checkout, Pay at Counter, and real-time tracking are real, not mocked. Card and wallet payments are not yet connected; every order currently settles as Pay at Counter, by design. If you are evaluating it for a real location, request a pilot and we will walk through the current scope with you honestly.
