Where it stands
Commerce OS is in Early Access, released as a live, externally-testable demo running on real infrastructure. The register, till reconciliation, promotions, loyalty, and reports shown in the demo are real and running against a live database — not a mockup. Supermarket OS is the first live vertical; other retail formats follow the same commerce core. It is not yet integrated with e-invoicing/tax-authority systems, a payment processor, or delivery aggregators, and multi-country tax rules are scoped per engagement rather than assumed.
